***UPDATE:: This year’s Witches’ Yule Ball has been CANCELED due to the fall-through of all of our venue options. However, we would like to plan for this coming year, to do a gathering/event for Beltaine and/or the Summer Solstice. If you would like to be kept up to date or assist with the planning of festivities, please contact us at: email@example.com
- The Twisted Tree~ Apothecary & Occult Shoppe Presents:
We of The Twisted Tree have decided to put on a Yuletide celebration this year. Venue is still being determined, but it may end up being out of doors with a large bonfire and optional camping for those who want to stay the night, or who want to drink and have no DD. The theme is a “Witches’ Yule Ball Masquerade”. As plans become finalized we will update this page so check back often! We will be doing a raffle and possibly a silent auction for some original art prints as well.
Venue: To Be Determined
Date: Saturday December 20, 2014 from 8pm-?
Attire: ‘Semi-formal to formal’, masks optional; wear your witchiest ensemble! (If held outside, it will be cold so keep that in mind when planning your outfit). Period clothing encouraged!
Food: Possibly stew for dinner (we will try and have a vegetarian option as well); finger snacks; dessert; drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
Entertainment: music and dancing, bonfire, a round of Wassailing at Midnight, and a raffle.
Tickets will be for sale through Saturday December 6 in order to give us enough time to finalize the party according to the number of attendees. Each attendee must purchase a ticket. The cost of the ticket covers your attendance and food and drinks. All proceeds from ticket sales will be going towards the cost of throwing the event, and any left over funds will be donated— **we are considering a local Soup Kitchen, Women’s Battery Shelter, or a national or state-level organization that promotes religious equality, etc. for Pagans if we can find one… have a suggestion? E-mail us! firstname.lastname@example.org**
You will see below that there are different ticket prices. This is our effort to make this event available to everyone, even though some of us may be struggling financially. It is the Holiday Season after all. Our hope is that you will pay what you can afford, and there is a fourth option: “Pay It Forward”– for those with a little extra cash who want to purchase a ticket for someone who is really in need in addition to their own ticket. If there is anyone who wants to attend and cannot afford even the cheapest ticket price, please contact us via e-mail and during the last week of November if anyone has purchased the “Pay It Forward” ticket option we will contact you to see if you want to still attend. **If none of the Pay It Forward tickets are used, the extra money will be donated**.

- WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!
We are in need of local witchy/pagan/occult craftpersons, psychics, business owners, etc. to donate an item or more to our gift baskets which will be given to the winners of the raffle. We will more than likely be doing three baskets and are looking for things such as: crystals, herb sachets, incense bundles, tarot decks, handcrafted items, jewelry, gift cards (for your shop or for, say, a reading), etc.
Other things we need of are listed below. When we receive a donor/sponsor we will put your name/business/contact info on this page, and also at the celebration for people to see. Those that are in Bold are completed…
